January 20, 2026 - Top 10 finalists are notified
January 29, 2026 - Top 10 Teams/Mentors meet at HCCD for reception/info session
February 13, 2026 - DEADLINE for the following (submitted to Gwen Roth)
March - April 2026 - Implementation of Proposal
April 25, 2026 - Final Presentation at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
January 29, 2026 - Top 10 Teams/Mentors meet at HCCD for reception/info session
February 13, 2026 - DEADLINE for the following (submitted to Gwen Roth)
- Signed Implementation Agreement (each student must submit this)
- Signed Parent/Guardian & Photo Consent Form (each student must submit this)
- OPTIONAL: Action Steps with details (each team)
- Implementation Budget (each team must submit this)
- Student Letter to Principal (each team must submit this)
March - April 2026 - Implementation of Proposal
- Check in with mentor weekly!
April 25, 2026 - Final Presentation at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
- Each team will have 5 minutes to explain their proposal to the panel of judges. The judges will then have 5 minutes for questions/answers and transition to next group.
- Project photos (at least 5-7 high resolution) (each team must submit this)
- Final Report (each team must submit this)
