Education Grants

Do you have an idea to make your school or classroom more green-savvy? The District may be able to help. Come up with a great ideas and submit it to our office for a chance to earn $500 towards your idea. Some possible projects include:

Land Lab development
Teacher workshop costs
Training on conservation issues
Classroom projects promoting conservation
Field Trips

To be eligible you must submit an application answering three simple questions. For more information please click on the link to the the right. There is no deadline, so what are you waiting for!? We fund up to 2 projects per school year.

Please answer the following questions as thoroughly as possible. Remember, there are no wrong answers! Any conservation related project will be considered!

NEEDS: What are the needs of your students? What need in your school does your proposed project address? *

OBJECTIVES: What are the objectives of your project? What do you hope to accomplish with your project? Approximately how many teachers and students will be involved? Will the project extend into the community? How? *

BUDGET: What is your estimated budget? Please include an itemized budget, include any in-kind donations. Please note: This grant is intended for reimbursement of the intended project, we cannot fund projects beforehand. Projects must be approved before funds are spent. *
