Have you always wanted to make your own videos? Now is your chance. Join the team from Hamilton County for a 2-day workshop walking you through all the steps of video production from concept to finished video. The education possibilities are endless!
* Each office may register up to 2 people * $50/person (covers meals and training for both days) * Attendees must commit to and attend both days * Training will take place at Butler SWCD (1802 Princeton Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011) * Contact Gwen Roth or Sara Fehring with questions.
Training Details:
Day 1 (July 30): Pre-production & Production Learn how to develop a concept, write a script, set up a location, frame your subject, collect 'B roll,' handle different cameras and shoot a video.
Homework: Develop a script and collect video (inc B roll)
Day 2 (August 20): Post-production Learn how to edit your video, make cuts where appropriate, fade to black, add music or still pics and create a final video to use for your District.
Each participant will need: Camera (a newer cell phone will work) Laptop (loaded with Windows Media Editor or iMovie if Mac) Ideas about what topics you would like to develop into a video
This class is designed to teach the basics of video development and editing. This is not designed to master a particular editing software. We will be using Filmora - a free video editing software, so that everyone can become familiar with the basics of video editing.
